In June, U.S. housing markets had 48.5% more sellers than buyers, maintaining a strong buyer's market where buyers have more negotiating power. About 70% of major metros are buyer's markets, led by Miami and Nashville, due to high prices, insurance costs, and new construction. Only seven metros, mainly in the Northeast, remain seller's markets due to limited inventory and strong demand. Some buyer's markets are becoming even more favorable for buyers.
