In Davidson County, 2,901 informal property assessment appeals were filed, with 1,422 resulting in reduced assessed values totaling over $54.2 million. Appeals allow owners to provide new information like property damage or measurement errors. The assessment reflects market data, while tax rates are set separately. Formal appeals to the Metro Board of Equalization are open through June 26 for the 2026 assessment year.
